The Settings area of Email Audit Engine gives you access to everything behind the scenes—your profile, integrations, billing info, user roles, and more.
How to Access Settings
You can open the Settings panel in two ways:
- From the sidebar navigation, click the gear icon labeled Settings
- Or, click your profile image in the top-right corner and choose a section from the dropdown
Once inside, you’ll find six key sections:
1. Profile
Update your personal details like:
- First name, last name
- Website (optional)
- Profile photo
Note: Email and username are tied to your signup and can’t be changed.
You can also change your password from here.
Quick Link: Your name and photo will appear for any users you’ve shared dashboards or reports with.
2. Account
Shows key info tied to your connected Mailchimp integration, including:
- Account name (fetched from Mailchimp)
- Region
- Time zone and date format
- Currency format
- Industry category (used to benchmark performance)
Side note: This information updates automatically when you connect or switch integrations.
3. Billing
Manage your subscription plan and payment details:
- See your current plan and status
- Upgrade or cancel your subscription
- Update payment method
- View billing history
You can also apply promo codes during upgrade.
Plans: Basic (free), Standard, and Premium — with discounted annual billing available.
4. Integrations
This is where you connect your Mailchimp API(s):
- Add new keys (1 for Basic users, 3 for Standard, unlimited for Premium)
- Manage connection status (Connecting, Connected, Error, etc.)
- Switch between multiple Mailchimp accounts using the connect option
Side note: Switching accounts here updates your info in the Account tab automatically.
5. Users
View and manage who has access to your dashboards and reports:
- Owner (you) has full access
- Members can view and edit shared dashboards
- Guests have view-only access
- Leads are generated through your embedded forms
Note: User roles only apply to your shared content — each user has their own workspace.
Wrapping Up
Settings may not be the flashiest part of Email Audit Engine, but they’re where your foundation is built. Whether you’re setting up integrations, managing team access, or tailoring your workspace, the Settings pages give you the control to make the platform truly yours. Take a moment to explore them—you’ll thank yourself later.
