Reports: Turn Your Dashboards Into Shareable Insights
Effortlessly compile, customize, and share your dashboards as polished multi-page reports with real-time data.
July 11, 2025
Reports in Email Audit Engine are where your data goes to make an impact.
Once your dashboards are set up, reports help you compile those insights into polished, page-by-page documents—perfect for sharing with clients, stakeholders, or team members. Whether you're exporting a snapshot or reviewing performance week-over-week, reports turn raw metrics into clear narratives.
What Is the Report Page?
Your Report page is a central space where you can:
- View compiled reports (made from your dashboards)
- Flip through multi-page layouts
- Switch between saved reports using the top dropdown
Each report is made up of one or more dashboards, shown as separate pages in a scrollable or paginated view at the bottom of the screen. You’ll always land on the default report after setup — called “Report Template” — which includes the two default dashboards:
- Campaign Performance
- Automation & Ecommerce
If you’re on a Standard or Premium plan (or using the free trial), you can create and edit additional reports too.
What’s in a Report?
Reports don’t just copy your dashboards — they preserve the layout, filtering, and card configurations you’ve customized. That means:
- Every card stays exactly where you placed it
- Filters you adjusted (like time ranges or email types) are saved in the report context
- Pages reflect your saved dashboard names and settings
You can quickly scroll through different pages at the bottom of the screen or switch between reports from the top bar.
Exporting & Sharing Your Report
Want to share what you see? That’s easy.
- Click the Export button in the top right.
- Your report opens in a new tab in a live, sharable format.
- Use the Share button to send the report link (no login needed).
- Or hit Download to get a PDF copy of your report.
Tip: Shared reports show your logo and theme (if customized in the Tools tab). The live view makes sharing with clients or collaborators a breeze.
All users can adjust filtering on shared reports. Default filters are set by the report owner.
Edit Your Report
Standard and Premium users will also see an Edit button at the top. Clicking it lets you:
- Rearrange report pages (drag-and-drop)
- Add or remove dashboards
- Rename your report
- Save new custom versions
We cover that fully in the next article — but just know, it's how you go from a snapshot to a fully tailored, client-ready performance story.
